Panelist:
Shane Jenkins, Executive Director of Stand in the Gap. Shane Jenkins is former January 6th defendant. Shane was a defendant in the January 6th events, having been incarcerated for a total of 46 months—24 of which were pre-trial, and 32 in what is referred to as the DC Gulag. His case went to trial, where he was found guilty on all counts by a jury that many would argue did not represent his peers.
On January 6th, Shane was directly beside Victoria White when she was assaulted by police. He himself was also assaulted but managed to assist MDP Officer Blake Miller back to safety amidst the chaos.
Instead of succumbing to the adversities he faced, Shane turned his experience into a platform for change. While incarcerated, he founded two significant organizations:
This organization focuses on advocating for judicial reform, highlighting injustices within the current system, and pushing for changes to ensure fair treatment for all.
Shane is now dedicating his efforts towards reforming and restoring integrity to America’s justice system. His firsthand experience gives him a unique perspective and an unyielding commitment to this cause.

Segment Topic:
- Trump wants intellectual diversity and signs EO regarding college accreditation.
- President Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday to shake up the college accreditation process, a topic that rarely gets political sunlight but is immensely important to universities.
- College accreditation is the process universities must go through to receive federal financial aid, a tool Trump called his “secret weapon” on education on the campaign trail.
- “University accreditation is currently a process controlled by a number of third-party organizations that’s by statute, by law, many of those third-party accreditors have relied on sort of woke ideology to accredit universities, instead of accrediting based on merit and performance,” said Will Scharf, White House staff secretary.
- Although the text of the executive order is not yet out, a report from The Wall Street Journal said the president aims to use the process to remove what he sees as “ideological overreach” and to increase “intellectual diversity” on campus.
- The order will also allow colleges to switch accreditors easily and encourage more competition in the accreditor space, according to the outlet. (The Hill)

Segment Topic:
- The domestic war on illegal immigration:
- What is the CHNV Program?
- Humanitarian Parole for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans was a program under which citizens of these four countries, and their immediate family members, could be paroled into the United States for a period of up to two years if a person in the US agreed to financially support them.
- Last Thursday, Massachusetts District Judge Indira Talwani said in a hearing that she plans to block the Trump administration’s revocation of parole of aliens under the CHNV program. Judge Talwani’s statements come after the Trump administration formally terminated the program last month and announced that parole for Cuban, Haitian, and Nicaraguans and Venezuelans would expire April 24. (FAIR)
- The revocation of parole for aliens who entered through the CHNV program was the latest in a series of moves taken by the Trump administration to end the illegal parole program launched by the Biden administration over two years ago. On his first day in office, President Trump issued an Executive Order, entitled “Securing Our Borders,” which directed DHS to end the CHNV program. Within days, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) issued an internal memo suspending the intakeof any new CHNV applications. In February, DHS announced it was halting any immigration benefits requests (such as work permits) made by CHNV parolees.
- Who is this Federal Judge: Indira Talwani (born October 6, 1960) is a United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. Appointed by Obama in 2014.

- Can Victor Antonio Martinez-Hernandez serve out his sentence in El Salvador jail?
- Taking Easter Seriously:
“That God, which ever lives and loves,
One God, one law, one element,
And one far-off divine event
To which the whole creation moves.”
— Alfred Lord Tennyson (1809-1892)
- The first was the Stamp Act of 1765, which required colonists to have government stamps on all documents in every household. It was enforced by British agents who used general warrants, issued by a secret court in London, to rummage through colonists’ possessions, ostensibly looking for stamps.
- General warrants — like those issued by the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in Washington, D.C. — authorized government agents to search wherever they wished and seize whatever they found.
- The second intolerable act was the Revenue Act of 1767, the proceeds from which the king used to pay the salaries of colonial officials and the king’s clergy, thereby securing their loyalty.
- The Stamp Act assaulted the right to be left alone, and the Revenue Act forced colonists to pay for a religious establishment. These two British laws caused many colonists to realize they needed to secede from Britain and form a new country, in which the government would protect freedom, not assault it. Ten years later, they did so and won the American Revolution.
