ABC, NBC Ignore Indictment of Top Virginia Dem; CBS Frets It’s Political Like Omar Probe!
Far-left Democrat, Resistance hero, Virginia State Senate pro tempore Louis Lucas and her family were hit with a bevy of charges — including drug trafficking, money laundering, and racketeering — Thursday morning as part of a years-long criminal investigation into their family’s marijuana businesses.
When it came to the Thursday night network newscasts, ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News ignored it, while the CBS Evening News suggested the charges were politically motivated by President Trump’s Justice Department.
Republicans resurrecting Jim Crowe in North Carolina?
MS NOW’s “On the Line” host, Alicia Menendez, and New York Times opinion writer Mara Gay teamed up on Wednesday for a conspiracy-ridden and factually-challenged segment that insulted everybody’s intelligence by claiming that Jim Crow is on its way back to North Carolina.
Menendez declared, “I want to zoom in on North Carolina because it's a place where we're seeing evidence that Republican efforts to restrict voting may actually be working. Democracy Docket reports that the state thousands of midterm ballots are set to be rejected over minor technical issues after a federal court upheld strict new Republican-backed rules for mail voters. That's according to data shared exclusively with Democracy Docket.“
Memo to Mara Gay at the NY Slimes: you guys owm Jim Crowe!
Did MSNOW’s Stephanie (Communist) Ruhle actually blame President Trump for the riots in France last week? She did and her stupidity will be put to…
Is MSNOW going to supplant the View as the home to the dumbest morons in the media? Should MSNOW have their own contest each week?
Let’s discuss MSNOW’s Chris Hayes and his love fest with Ilhan Omar (or whatever her name really is.
What is the Worst Media Quote of the Week? Here are this week’s nominees:
Stephanie (communist) Ruhle Blames the Riots in France on Trump:
“The President is also using fear-mongering around the riots in France to motivate voters. Right? He said in the last 24 hours, without any evidence, that migrants, jihadists, and communists are the ones responsible for these riots. But we have to remember, the riots started, of course, over school conditions, but it’s also over high prices. And you can draw a direct link to the high prices in Europe, to President Trump’s war in Iran.” — Host Stephanie Ruhle on MS NOW’s Money, Power, Politics, October 20.
Ashley Parker Speculates ICE Agents Might Shoot At Citizens with “Brown Skin” Trying to Vote
“Talking to Democrats, they’re terrified. ‘Are ICE officials going to show up at the polls?’ You know, we don’t know what's going to happen….Even just the talk of ICE officials showing up at the polls, coupled with the arrests and some of the killings that is happening with ICE officials, can have a chilling effect of a legal citizen who has brown skin saying, ‘You know what, it’s not worth it for me, right? I’m not going to take time off of my job to show up and maybe get hassled by ICE and get shot in a parking lot when I’m a citizen.” — The Atlantic’s Ashley Parker on PBS’s Washington Week with The Atlantic, October 16.
Keith Olbermann: Trump Is a “Russian-Owned Mass Murderer”
“Trump is owned by Russia….He line-item vetoed virtually all of the provisions of the sanctions on buying Russian oil that happen to apply to Russia. It is abject corruption. It is aiding an enemy at the time of war. It has resulted and will result in the death of Ukrainians, and it increases the chance of a European war in which this country will be involved and in which Americans will die. Maybe thousands of us, maybe more; their deaths will be Donald Trump’s fault. Adding to his resume as a mass murderer, a Russian-owned mass murderer.”
IDF, Border Police launch counterterrorism operation after West Bank terror attack:
The IDF and Border Police launched a counterterrorism operation in the Hebron area after a Hamas terror shooting wounded five people, the military announced on Friday morning.
According to the IDF, over the last week dozens of operations across the West Bank had led to the arrest of approximately 70 wanted individuals, including some affiliated with Hamas and the Islamic Jihad terrorist groups.
Additionally, dozens of weapons were located, including M16 rifles, Carlo submachine guns, and four explosive devices.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said "it appears that Hamas terrorists were planning a major attack aimed at murdering innocent civilians".
Hamas has NOT disarmed and has no plans to disarm. Are the Israeli elections the perfect target for Hamas?
If we can believe recent polling, Prime Minister, Bibi Netanyahu is far behind his challenger. If Netanyahu loses, does he leave office or does he try to stay in-office by forming a coalition government?
What would this coalition do to Netanyahu’s ability to finish the war with Iran? How would Netanyahu’s loss affect the balance of power in the Middle East?
11-days to the midterms; reports surfaced earlier this week that the U.S. and Israel have agreed on a plan to eliminate Iran’s remaining IRGC leadership. What do you think of those reports?
When the attacks on Iran continue, will we see a far different set of targets this time and if so; what kind of targets?
The Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia continue, what is likely to happen once the Iran war restarts after November 3rd?
Will Israel help Saudi Arabia, does the United States engage the Houthi again?
Governor, what is your analysis of the current situation with Minnesota Congresswoman, Ilhan Omar?
When something like this occurs just prior to an election, there are calls of a political witch hunt. Is that fair in this case?
Polling nationally does not look good for Republicans, however; polling generally undercounts Republican, likely voters. Have you sensed a shift in support for Dem-Com and DSA candidates of late?
Wil the Trump campaign blitz make a difference?
With early voting now underway; fewer and fewer voters going to the polls on election day; how has this changed elections in America?
In your opinion, did the riots in France last weekend have any effect on our midterms and should they?
Former President Barack Obama will visit Detroit Saturday to stomp on behalf of Democratic candidates Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and Dr. Abdul El-Sayed. Will this help either candidate? (The Detroit News)
Governor, what is your position on the battle between the DOJ and California over the voter rolls?
With so many openly communist candidates on the ballot, would you support Congress codifying the Communist Control Act of 1954?
Two nonprofits linked to Marxist tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham have rejected a congressional ultimatum to turn over financial records, accusing lawmakers of using a foreign-influence investigation to target their political views and violate their First Amendment rights.
The People's Forum Inc., a New York City-based activist hub, and BreakThrough News, a far-left nonprofit media outlet, fired back in letters to Tuesday the powerful House Ways and Means Committee, which threatened to depose their leaders — and Singham personally — if the organizations failed to comply with earlier subpoenas for financial records.
The People's Forum blasted the latest congressional crackdown as a "MAGA-led witch hunt."
Is it time for the President to use the Insurrection Act to stop Singham and George Soros?
Governor, who did you admire politically and who motivated you to run for office?
Matthew McConaughey Calls on Americans to Vote Independent!
How much of an impact will independent voters have in the 2026 midterms?
McConaughey encourages independent voting: Actor Matthew McConaughey says voting for independent candidates isn’t a wasted vote and argues Americans should look beyond the Republican and Democratic parties.
He believes independents could influence Congress: He argues that electing just 3–5 independent lawmakers could force both major parties to negotiate and work together more often.
Independents want a voice in government: An independent candidate would stress that Americans shouldn’t have to choose between Democrats and Republicans, and that candidates should be judged by their ideas and values rather than their party affiliation.
Independents do have a choice in government (Bernie Sanders, Angus King). They are both Democrats!
Independent voters have a bigger profile in U.S. midterms as trust in parties’ fades. (Globe and Mail)
Regardless of the outcome of the 2026 midterm elections, any party that wins the majority will have done so because of the independent vote. For the past several elections, this cohort has been the crucial swing vote that ultimately decides the election. Independents are the kingmakers.
If Democrats win big on Nov. 3, expect a familiar story. Pundits will call it a mandate. Party leaders will say voters want their agenda. They will be wrong.
Independents do not fit neatly into a partisan box. They are not secret Democrats, and they are not secret Republicans. They agree with each side on some things and with neither on others, which is exactly why neither party can claim them.
That does not mean they lack convictions. Independents, like most Americans, have coherent views on politics and policy. And these positions are widely shared and present opportunity for meaningful legislation. On energy, 70% of Americans want government to actively expand supply: more energy, lower prices, less pollution. On immigration, 77% want legal immigration maintained or expanded, focused on the skills the economy needs. Respect our laws and welcome those who contribute.
How will the 2026 midterms affect this nation economically?
Has the war in Iran damaged this nation economically?
Have President Trump’s polices softened the blow for Americans?
The “Jones Act” has it outlived its usefulness? If the Dem-Com’s take control of the House next year, “The Jones Act” is NOT going anywhere!
American families are struggling with the high cost of fuel due to the supply challenges from the Iran War. Thankfully, President Trump isn’t standing back and is taking action to keep these temporary high prices from getting worse.
Trump unleashed the oil stockpile, allowed cheaper blends of gasoline, suspended some gas tax, and perhaps most importantly, suspended an antiquated law that makes everything more expensive: The Jones Act.
The Jones Act requires that goods transported domestically over water use ships that are primarily U.S.-owned, U.S.-crewed, and U.S.-built. The problem is there isn’t enough American-made ships or crews to service our large economy. That causes places like California and the Northeast to import oil rather than using American energy.
Also known as the Shipping Bottleneck Law, it makes ships carrying oil and other goods take massive detours to foreign countries instead of efficiently moving from U.S. port to U.S. port.
Trump partially suspended this law through mid-November, and it has helped. There were more petroleum products shipped from the Gulf Coast to the West Coast in the first 90 days of the suspension than there typically are in an entire year.
By restricting domestic waterborne shipping to vessels that are U.S.-built, U.S.-owned, and U.S.-crewed, the law limits competition and makes it more expensive to move goods between American ports. Those costs ultimately fall on consumers.
The key question for policymakers going forward should not be whether this temporary Jones Act waiver is needed, but why a law that is repeatedly waived whenever there is a national crisis remains on the books.
But, for now, President Trump deserves support for issuing a Jones Act waiver to help America respond to supply interruptions and price increases resulting from conflict in the Middle East.

NY Governor Kathy Hochul has decided to opt-into the Trump-backed education tax credit bill!
Sydney, can you explain the bill and what is it intended to do do for parents and students?
Is this an election year ploy by the embattled, New York governor?
